Microsoft announced that the company has finalized the subsequent version of its desktop operating system. The Windows maker has formally named it “Windows 10 November 2019 Update” with a barely inaccurate version 1909.
In a blog post published last evening, Brandon LeBlanc writes that the previous Insider Preview build delivered to Windows Insiders is the ultimate build. “We consider that Build 18363.418 is the ultimate build, and we are going to proceed to improve the experience of 19H2 on users’ PCs as part of our normal servicing cadence.” He added that this build consists of all the newest 19H2 features, including carrying fixes that had been released to the May 2019 Update through this month’s Patch Tuesday updates.
As announced earlier, Microsoft will deliver the upcoming Windows 10 November 2019 Update as a total update. Focusing on efficiency improvements and OS stability, the next characteristic update is not bringing any modifications to the operating system.
Both the May 2019 Update (version 1903) and the November 2019 Update (version 1909) share the same servicing content material, which implies they share the same Cumulative Update packages. The only change is the build number, which goes from 18363 to 18364.
With Windows 10 November 2019 Update now concluded, Microsoft will begin moving Insiders in the Slow ring to Windows 10 20H1 – the 2020 version of the operating system. “We will make this modification in the coming weeks,” the software ginat wrote.
